You know you're getting elderly/ absent minded when...

...your spouse suggests putting The Clapper* on your coffee cup.

*I just looked it up- The Clapper apparently just turns things on and off; it doesn't actually beep to locate things.

You know that you're getting elderly/absent minded when your child starts talking about getting elderly/absent minded. ;)

So maybe NATE'S the elderly/absentminded one, if he can't remember what The Clapper does.

If I remember correctly, I merely seconded a particular caffeine deprived person's suggestion to use a clapper. Very early in the morning (i.e. before noon).

Even if I'm incorrect on that, a clapper is different from a Clapper(TM).

And after I said it I did described what I meant, including saying it was not a Clapper(TM).

And the dog ate my homework.

And other odd and faltering defenses of myself that dig the hole deeper :)
